Customize your Events list columns

Show or hide columns, pick which field appears under each item type, and keep your layout across devices.

A busy week can mean dozens of flights, hotels, and load-ins in one list. You can hide the columns you don’t need and choose which detail shows for each item type — flight number, hotel name, time, and so on — so the table matches how you work. Your layout is saved for you on this Account, so it follows you on desktop and phone.

Show or hide columns

  1. Open Events.

  2. Tap the columns control (cog icon) above the table.

  3. Turn a column on or off.

Use Reset columns if you want every hideable column visible again. That restores visibility only — it does not change which field you picked for each item type.

Choose the field for an item type

Each item-type column (Flight, Hotel, Task, and so on) shows one field at a time. The header looks like Flight (Flight Number) so you always know what’s in that column.

  1. Open the columns menu.

  2. Open the submenu for that item type.

  3. Pick the field you want — for example Flight Number, Time, or Done for tasks.

If a type has custom fields, those appear in the list. Timed types can show Time. Task types can show Done. When there are no custom fields, Time is preferred over Done.

Edit from the list

For simple fields (text, notes, checkboxes, and similar), you can edit right in the cell. Hover the open icon on the right of an inline cell to open the full item editor without leaving the list. Structured details still open in the item popover. Empty item cells stay empty until you edit a field — nothing is created just by opening the column.

Time columns with a normal clock time use a small time control in the cell. Items timed relative to the event (for example “2 hours before doors”) show that label left-aligned in the cell — change those offsets in the full item editor.

Flight number columns show the number you saved. If a flight status was saved too, the status pill appears next to it.

Tips

  • Your column layout is yours alone on this Account. Teammates keep their own layouts.

  • If you used the Events list before this update, any columns you had hidden in this browser are copied once into your saved layout.

  • The calendar “Add item” path still saves a new item right away; deferred create only applies to empty cells on the Events list.
