Use this when someone should work inside the Account you already have. They get an email, open a join page, and land in that Account.
This is not Invite a contact to connect. A connect invite is for mutual contacts. A team invite is for people who should use this Account with you.
You need to be an Admin of the Account to send an invite.
Send an invite
Open Settings, then Team.
Under Invite Team Members, enter their email.
Choose Member or Admin.
Send invitations.
You can add more than one email before you send. If someone did not get the email, open the pending invite and choose Resend invitation.
What they see
The email opens a page titled Join the {Account} account. The email address is locked to the address you invited.
They enter their name and a password, then Continue, and confirm the code sent to that email.
If their company uses single sign-on, they see Continue with SSO instead of a password.
When they are in, they go straight to the Account. They do not create a new Account, pick an account type, or choose a handle.
If they already have an account
They use Already have an account? Sign in on the join page, with the same email you invited. Signing in with a different email will not open this invite.
If the link does not work
Ask them to use the latest email. An older link stops working after you resend, or when the invite is no longer available. Send a new one from Team.
