Defaults for new events and bookings

Set default event types, labels, booking offer sections, and who pays — so new work starts the way you actually work.

Set account-wide defaults in Settings so new events and bookings start with the type, labels, and offer sections you use most. Templates override defaults. Location and timezone prefill live in Settings → General — see Venues and event locations.

Default event options

In Settings → Events, open the menu on an event type, status, label, or schedule item row and choose Set as default on new events. Default rows show a star badge — so the next event starts as a Show (or whichever type you pick) without repeating the same clicks.

Default location and timezone

In Settings → General, turn on Prefill new events with this address and Prefill new events with this timezone if new events should start with your Account address and timezone when you haven’t chosen a location yet. If the event is Event for a roster member, that member’s General settings are used instead. See Venues and event locations.

Default booking sections

In Settings → Bookings → Default booking settings, turn on optional offer sections, choose who usually pays on the first revenue term, and under When sending choose whether new offers start as Pending or (on Pro plans) Confirmed.

Calendar auto-save

Events edited from the calendar popover save automatically — look for Saving… or Saved at the bottom of the panel.
